Manufacturing-as-a-Service [MaaS] with the PEAR Production Module
We design, build, and operate fully automated precision manufacturing lines—producing specialty stamped parts from super-alloys for the aerospace, medical, and semiconductor industries. ISO 9001:2015 certified. Priced per part. Built to scale.
Precision Engineering & Research, LLC (PEAR) is an ISO 9001:2015–certified Manufacturing-as-a-Service (MaaS) company. We design, develop, build, operate, and service precision manufacturing lines that produce specialty parts for a range of high-tech industries.
By combining cutting-edge software with artificial intelligence (AI), we design and continually refine our tooling for optimal performance. Collaborative robots (COBOTs) are integrated directly into our manufacturing lines to maximize speed and efficiency, while software-driven vision inspection systems guarantee part quality down to the tightest specifications possible. Backed by our ISO 9001–certified quality management system, every line is fully modular, allowing us to scale quickly and efficiently to support virtually any growth profile.
Our current focus is the use of custom-designed compound and progressive stamping DIEs to produce precision parts from a wide variety of super-alloys. We handle production volumes ranging from 50,000 to 10,000,000 parts per purchase order, with customers charged on a simple per-part basis.
At the heart of our business is the ability to:
Our ISO 9001:2015 certification reflects our ongoing commitment to consistency, traceability, and continuous improvement—ensuring that precision and reliability are built into every part we produce.

PEAR operates as a Manufacturing-as-a-Service (MaaS) partner, delivering finished precision components on a cost-per-part basis. Rather than selling tooling or manufacturing equipment, we invest in advanced production systems so our customers can focus on product development while we focus on delivering high-quality parts with predictable costs, exceptional quality, and reliable delivery.
Every critical stage of the manufacturing process is performed within PEAR's California facility, including:
Maintaining complete in-house control allows us to accelerate development, protect intellectual property, improve quality, and respond quickly to engineering changes.
Our integrated engineering and manufacturing teams work together throughout every stage of product development.
Because tooling, automation, production, and quality are developed simultaneously, design changes can be implemented rapidly without waiting on outside suppliers. This significantly reduces development time while minimizing project risk.
Customers benefit from:
PEAR supports the complete product lifecycle.
Whether customers require a small prototype run, validation samples, first articles, or millions of production components annually, our manufacturing systems are designed to scale without compromising precision or consistency.
We can manufacture precision components from:
Our engineering team can recreate existing tooling or develop entirely new manufacturing solutions to improve quality, reduce cost, or increase production efficiency.
Every production system is standardized using a rigorous Copy Exact Manufacturing® methodology.
Production tooling, wear components, automation, inspection equipment, and manufacturing parameters are replicated and controlled to ensure every production line produces identical parts with identical quality.
This approach enables:
Quality is built directly into every manufacturing process.
Our automated inspection systems continuously monitor production using precision measurement technologies capable of detecting dimensional variation, surface defects, scratches, contamination, dents, and cosmetic imperfections.
Non-conforming parts are automatically identified and removed before shipment.
Our process controls provide:
PEAR develops automated manufacturing systems capable of:
Complex customer requirements can be integrated directly into the manufacturing process, reducing downstream labor and improving consistency.
Our manufacturing technologies support customers operating in demanding industries requiring exceptional precision and reliability, including:
We measure our success by the performance of our customers' supply chains.
Our focus on process capability, preventive maintenance, automation, and continuous improvement enables us to consistently deliver:
Our standardized manufacturing architecture allows additional production capacity to be deployed quickly without lengthy redevelopment.
Identical manufacturing cells can be replicated to support:
This allows customers to confidently transition from prototype quantities to high-volume production while maintaining consistent quality.
PEAR is headquartered and manufactures entirely in California, USA.
Our engineering, tooling, automation, manufacturing, quality, and customer support teams operate under one roof, enabling rapid communication, tighter quality control, shorter lead times, and responsive customer support.

Tool & Die Makers (Manufacturing) is a specialized industry that involves the production of tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures used in the manufacturing process of various products.
These tools are essential in the production of parts and components for a wide range of industries, including automotive, semiconductor, aerospace, electronics, and medical devices.
Tool & Die Makers (Manufacturing) companies are responsible for designing, building, and maintaining (operating) these tools to ensure that they meet the specific requirements of their clients.
Special Die and Tool, Die Set, Jig, and Fixture Manufacturing. This U.S. industry comprises establishments, known as tool and die shops, primarily engaged in manufacturing special tools and fixtures, such as cutting dies and jigs.

PEAR focuses primarily on making parts from precision-rolled strip made from stainless steel and other aluminum, molybdenum, nickel, chromium, cobalt, and titanium alloys.

Our focus industries are aerospace, medical and semiconductor

Material gauges typically range from 0.002 inches to 0.125 inches with widths in a range from 0.5 to 5.0 inches.
Our high-speed, technology driven solutions are offered through a services model and priced on a per part basis. Our goal is to deliver precision, quality, consistency and volume to customers throughout the value chain.
Our Commitment to Quality — ISO 9001 Certified
At PEAR, quality is the foundation of everything we do. Our ISO 9001:2015 certification reflects our ongoing commitment to delivering products and services that consistently meet the highest standards of excellence and reliability. This internationally recognized standard validates the strength of our quality management system, ensuring that every project is backed by rigorous processes, continuous improvement, and a customer-focused approach.
